Hi all,

Just after a little advice; my cars at Zedworld for it's MOT and a couple of other bits... It failed the MOT on movement in the upper Arms (already adjustable fitted by Previous owner) on the Front . Jamie has looked and basically they can't be tightened anymore so need replacing.

For MOT purposes we're replacing with a stock item but obviously long term I need to replace with another decent adjustable set...

I've looked at both Driftworks and the Zed centre sets and both look like they'ed do the job... question is does anyone have any experience with either make or can someone recommend a decent alternative??

Cheers in advance

Yes I did realise that, just was a general comment about after market adjustable suspension parts, its very difficult to know what to do for the best to be honest as no particular make gets a 100% thumbs up.

its a minefield i know, but needs must as i have a lowered car with larger wheels etc. my original arms caused scrubbing on the inside of the tyre, so i have to have adjustables.

thanks for the heads up btw

front adjustables used on the road should be seen as wear and tear items I'm afraid. Lots of threads in the US on this topic too.

its a bit bloody dangerous tho seeing as i only checked them a couple of months ago. dread to think what would have happened if i hadn't found the fault.

One of the reasons i have got back to oem parts. hate all this aftermarket sh1t with dodgey pillow joints.

The only thing i have is the adjustable top arms lol! I bought mine off ebay a good 5 years ago and still as good as the day they went on :)

every thing was fine and dandy untill the Chinese learned how to use a lathe and milling machine and across the board it all went down hill from there:blink:...and lets not even mention Chinese welding skills:ninja:
