This is on a 1990 auto tt all readings are good on the Datascan. Driving along at 50mph pull out to overtake, the throttle opens the auto box goes down gets ut to 70mph and then loses all power until I ease off the throttle,then the power comes back on. It's like there is a limiter or some device fitted. It doesnt happen every time usually when throttle is pushed right down.

Any ideas would be most welcome as I am running out of clean knickers.:confused1:

Have you checked for boost leaks?

could be loose conector ive heard similar stories due to loose coilpack conector or ptu/injector or cas give them a check too

wouldnt be a kickdown issue would it?
