No less than 4 times in the last 30 minutes of driving the Z. 'Nice car mate' shouted over. Couple of girls in a 406 coupe stopped at an intersection to make the very same comment!

 

It's great having the car in hibernation for the winter as you appreciate it even more when you drive it. Very flattering and it's quite a buzz having people stare and make comments at a 20 year old Nissan!

Yeah, that was funny! Anymore excited and I think we'd have seen some bare naked flesh from them Richard! That was indeed a great test drive, not just because of the girls, but was even better handing that GTO its ass!

I know! It's as bad in France. Zs get a bit of attention over here, but take it across the channel and they look at you as if you're driving a Veyron or some other mortage valued supercar.

 

I actually have photos I took last year of loads of people stopping and looking at it. Parked by the seafront in Granville, went off to get a croissant, came back to see loads of people walking round it. One couple wouldn't go and were having a right old peer!

No one really looks at the supra. But in the zed almost everone looks and i love it and love the sound etc. They are amazing cars. ive had ferrari and porchse lads put there thumbs up etc

Si I agree with the french thought, when in france fishing a couple of years back, petrol station in middle of night 2 x police cars pull up, one gets fuel, other parks next to me, has a look over it, looks at me and nods "that is a very beautiful car monsuir, is it fast" i reply its "ok" shame he hadnt seen me 10 mins before, then he would have been talking a different way of my speed.

Nice when we get compliments for our cars.

I love it too,:wub: People stare and dont know what car it is!! I got stopped in my TT a few weeks ago by the police, He asked all the usual stuff, `Is this your vehicle sir? do you know why I`ve stopped you?. After the usual questions he stepped back to admire the car, asked what it was, how old and what engine, he was stunned that it was 20 years old had a 3 litre TT and let me go off with my tiny reg plate, dark windows and said drive safley mate!!! he stopped the traffc to let me pull out and gave me the thumbs up!!! If I was in any other car i reckon i would have been booked!! :winkiss:

I was in traffic on the high street middle of summer with the tbars off etc and an old women about 60/70 looked in the window and said i love Z cars.

Just before I took my car off the road I drove to France for the day - as we were getting in the car a group of French guys were all staring at us (think my g/f thought they were staring at her LOL!), then all gathered around the car & started taking photos & looking inside!! :thumbup:

 

G/F thought it was strange LOL!!

 

Always got loads of looks & comments - the best ever was as I was just cruising around on a nice summers day, T tops off & music playing - stopped at a T junction & went to pull out & there was a proper "street" black guy that saw me, gave a big grin & literally done this to me in the middle of the road!! -> :bow:

 

Will never forget that - made me chuckle seeing him!! :laugh:
