Next month I will be sorting out the bodywork on my new Z and the finish I want is exactly the same as the following picture.

123.jpg

I know its the 99 spec rear spoiler, but also I think I need to buy the perspex strip below it along with the 'Nissan Fairlady Z' and 'Twin Turbo' decals.

I seen the perspex strip on that very site, but its only listed as 'without brake light'. Now - I have a high level brake light so does this mean I lose it? Or can I source a perspex strip with an insert for the light?

Also, does anyone know where I can source that exact fairlady Z decal to finish off the strip and also the twin turbo decal for the other end?

Hope you guys havent been asked this question too many times...

Thanks in anticipation.

If you go 99 spec spoiler then yes you will need the perspex strip.Zcentre do a perspex strip with the brakelight cut out but it's very fragile.

You can get the decals from traders on here or Z1 in the US sell the raised chromed plastic ones.

If you have a brake light mounted in your spoiler now, you will need the perspex strip with the lens for it avail from nissan, but more expensive than the one without, there was a recent thread listing part numbers and price.

The badges are available through mjp on the site

uk spec would be

nissan left and twin turbo to the right

Here is the info>

26590-49P00 without brake light - £50'ish

26590-30P15 with brake light - £120'ish

Am I better off dumping the brake light? I'm not bothered about having one anyway tbh.

Its entirely up to you mate. Would make it cheaper for the strip and it's not as if you'll notice when your driving :gunsmilie:

Decision made, brake light is going. I just love the finish that perspex strip/99 spoiler gives compared to the rotting mess I have now.

is the brake light included in the perspex strip with brake light

Brake light version comes with brake light which is moulded into it.

I've never been bothered about brake light, looks better without it and a big cost saving.
