Today with just a little bit of help :helpsmilie: we all managed to get a whole load of stuff done to the zed. We have really broke the back of this thing now, so with a bit of luck and someone to sort out the AEM EMS it should be startable in the next few weeks maybe :scared:.

I cant say thanks enough to everyone today, its a difficult project as almost everything is an upgrade or a relocation. Its a big build and nothing is ever simple.

Jimmer managed to put the twin plate barstool clutch in swiftly followed by the brand spanking new gearbox on the engine. We then managed to get the engine and box in the car in one piece!!. Si kept nipping off in the Porker for Vasaline?????? for hours on end, and managed to put a load of my new interior in. JMWUK made the new speakers fit the doors...

I managed to put the prop shaft on as well as do a load of stuff under the car and James did a whole load of the electrical stuff :crying:.

As a team effort we made some real progress, unfortunately my phone is playing up so the pictures did not come out very well. I will take some pics tmoz with a decent camera and post them up.

It looks really nice in chrome black and white.. the end is now in sight yipeeeeeee.

Thanks again guys

Well done:D!

Was a good day! Just a shame about that bloody wiring for the old alarm! I'd have put most of the interior back in if this hadn't been amiss. Hope James can sort it.

You should of just chopped the wires off and stuffed them in the dash, no one is going to pinch that shed

Still a fair bit of connecting up to do but this will give you an idea of where its at. The rear engine skin and throttle body cover etc are just placed on there at the moment. Also the WP pulley is round the wrong way.

Might try and get down there this weekend coming if I can to finish your interior. It's my birthday on Saturday, so may have to leave early....piss up planned! :)

Wow, that thing is coming along beautifully, I LOVE the matching white cam cover and believe you have the perfect colour set-up/scheme right there, engine looks beautiful, and that is exactly what I have in mind for my own :) - Simply Amazing.

Blimey, you still got it then . Does it still start.

Hi Old zed, apart from the battery being flat it does actually still start, Running rough though! How are you?

I'm great and still local, did you get the 'Italian' F'in car, I have not seen one about locally.?

Found a real nice one but the big "R" word hit the business really hard, so decided to wait it out for a while! We had to let the db9 go recently too as the bookings didnt cover the depreciation.Insurance a real problem for me as i have gained 11 points! so cant do the chauffer driving. and im not even a really fast driver! Crafty wannabe cops with cameras!!!
