Not a happy man and the wifes devastated :censored::censored::censored::rant::rant:

We exchanged contracts on a repo property that's been empty for a year and completed today. My parents went to check it out yesterday to find some f@@king thieving p@ss taking little w@@@@r of a scum sucking scrote has broken in this week and stolen all the copper pipes for the heating, water and some gas, it seems a few places in a 5 miles radius we targeted. They have made a right mess doing it to and have damaged the boiler, walls, doors and a ceilng!

Tomorrow we become homeless as the new people move in and we are going to a place that now has no mains water, gas or central heating. Tricky to find somewhere and move the same day for me the wife, my son and three dogs.

Angry is an understatement!!!!!

Total w**kers mate, really feel for you. The price of copper is through the roof at the mo. After doing a boiloer install the week, i put the old copper cylinder outside, went back in the house, and within 30 secs some smackhead grabbed the tank and ran of with it.

Fookers.

Hope you get it sorted mate.

:( thats proper shite mate... hope you can get something sorted asap.

its a problem thats getting worse and worse i'm afraid.

Blimey mate that is awfull, surely someone in the neighbourhood seen a van or something, or is it isolated. I bet its pikey *******s. I feel for you, it is a sign of the times.

assholes!!

Some wee junky looking to get cash for his fix no doubt. these twats dont realise what effect they have on other peoples lifes!

Hate hese kind of people and they deserve all they get!

Such a shame that this has happened mate, feel for you. A project we are undertaking at the minute had all the copper stripped (pipes, cables, lightning protection; about £40ks worth) they even went as far to break into sub-station but mustve through better of it!

Back on line sort of!

So as it stands we have had 3-4 weeks of arguing with the insurance about their liability, everytime we shoot down their reason not to payout they try another. Last Friday we finally struck a deal and work is now begining but we have been living (and still are) with no gas, heating or hot water. We have 1 electric shower, 2 cold taps, toilet and some elctric heaters. We could have gone into a hotel but it means putting the dogs in kennels for the whole time and the house empty with all our stuff in which we don't fancy.

Thanks for the messages of support and will hopefully see a lot of you at Japfest! I'll keep you updated on progress.

Glad to hear you are making progress mate, were abouts is your new place now? Give me a pm

The *******s will steal ANYTHING, even if it is nailed down. I feel for you mate. hope you get it sorted soon.

Is there any kind of insurance on the property yet?

Yes fully insured but has been a nightmare to get them to pay out, think we have finally got them to agree to it all at last.

Yeah, i suppose it would be harder with the place being unoccupied and no actual "goods" stolen, but more the fixtures and fittings.

Glad it's all coming together now though :)
