Going to sound proof the intereior of the car ,floor extra , has any one done this and if so did it make much diffrence to road noise extra , going to use brown bread insolation ,

biggest road noise id imagine, comes from the rear arches, as there really isn't much padding behind the panels in the rear. also the boot area as well. that's where i mainly heard road noises coming from, like rain being splashed off the tires. onto the wheel arches. start in them areas. and good luck. or just turn the stereo up

I did the Boot and rear wheel arches in my first Z. cant say I noticed any difference at all, but then tis not intended to really. Dynomat/Brownbread type stuff is to reduce resonance in the sheet metal from your Audio system. I believe there is separate stuff to help with road noise - thicker insulation material.

I believe Funkysi has done most of his car.

Did all my doors, rear quarters and parts of the boot. Not sure if it made any difference really. Made the doors seem a little more solid, but that's about it I guess.

A lot of it is to do with the overal design of the frame as well and using anti vibration sealants/grommets and the way the flitches and mounts in the frame of the car are designed. On a 20 year old car like the Z32, there's only so much you can do.
