Hi all, remember my thread about a super clean low mileage UK zed? for those who do read on for those who don't click the link below

Well having had among a lot of unseen upgrades the large calipers did mean new wheels were required and so we fitted a spanky set of 19" rims and tyres, getting a good deal on these at the moment.

So enjoy a few pics below.

Looks fantastic, if a little on the high side! As I keep saying, the body of the Z needs almost nothing doing to it and this shows that they look their best as Nissan designed them with no nasty body kits or assortment of fibreglass junk bolting to them!

Tidy car but I don't think those wheels suit it much, abit to bling and big, don't seem to fit the arches well either.

ime with you on that one...a nice black type (5 spoke) would of looked more classy me thinks

Black wheels = fail (apart from Madmarco's and on a red Z, they'd look poop IMO).

Totally agree (for a change) the zed looks best left alone.:tt2:

Unfortunately the pics where just after the wheels had been fitted and been jacked and lowered the car had not been moved so the suspension had not settled, having said that we fitted eibach springs the owner had bought elsewhere and was surprised it did not sit a bit lower than it does now.

Looks absolutely Fab!

Jeff, have you had a chance to review the brake performance yet??

So far very impressed, the low speed bite is very sharp but progressive, the pedal is very firm with no mushyness at all, having said that often brake fluid flush / change are overlooked and can make a world of difference.

Actually fancying a colour change to bronze maybe...!

Red zed still looking good although those wheels are a bit blingy to me. IMHO i'd have left that well alone as a standard machine! But its of course the owners choice, nice brakes though

Just noticed this. Damn that's one minging spoiler!

Fraid not. Lovely car and nice wheels, just can't stand black wheels, especially with the red lip, everyone seems to be doing this at the moment. Saw a Corsa SXI yesterday that the owner had painted the wheels black and put a red lip on.

Don't see too many hideously modified SXs anymore. People are either going 'drift spec' or keeping them clean and subtle. Hope the Z goes that way too...although you can keep ya 'drift spec'. lol
