OMG what a day, I spent all of it fitting a new FMI. If you dont mind getting a saw to your freshly painted after market bumper then im sure its a quickish job. :clown:

However if you dont want to destroy your bumper then you have to bend, hacksaw, and generally struggle with every part of it. Its like the movie Karate Kid but instead of "wax on, wax off" its "bumper on, bumper off" ahhhhhhhhh.

And then when you wrestle with it all day so the fecker fits underneath you then need to fabricate two brackets to hold it all into position.

Sure pleased that is out the way

John you are welcome, just grab it any time you need it. Things are coming along fine. The engine is nearly built up except for the new cams and a few pipes. Just literally started putting all the guts back under the hood so we can do all the electrics.

Si I should have, but all done now!!! front ones do cool better and because of the AC delete there is plenty of room to spray it with water lol.

Plenty of tests done using quality large volume SMICs that prove they are just as efficient. ;)

Anyway, good luck! Should be down the week after next. I'll swing by! Will let you know before hand though.

My uprated ARC side mounts sure were easy fit, 'intercooler off, intercooler on' :tt2:

Its quite easy to be honest, 2 holes, one near fuse box (passenger side) and one through the battery tray, and a tiny bit of cutting on the front bumper ;) I know because mine has had it done ^^

Also yea mate, i would of went for SMIC upgrade rather then a FMIC, in my opinion the front has so much stuff already there, putting a front mount surely makes less air flow for Rad etc

should be no differant as he has removed A/C RAD so its just one in one out really, & think the FMIC looks cool too gives the car a more aggresive look ! imo

There's some FMICs on ebay now for the Z32, works out around £200 in total if anyone was after one.
