Im not sure what this could be, but my car is smoking on idle at full temp, this is what its like even on a full run and i have been driving it for a few hours, any ideas? I hope its just something like PCV valves. And yes i know, it needs to be washed, but when the car lives on a farmyard most of the time, these things are going to happen.

.....PCV valves or turbo seals would give blue smoke on idle. If you're not losing oil or water; and the temperature remains normal then I'd say it's fine!

 

It's easy to worry though - 15 year old car and the threat of a big bill if something IS wrong........

Hehe i know what you mean mate :) The 60K service hurt enough in labour and parts!

Lol mine with recon turbos (apparently! occasional good news!) does this in epic amounts when its cold. Just condensation as its trying to warm the world up!
