You want your bumps feeling man , now go and sit in a corner and repeat 1000 times " i must not be stupid ," lol

Think of it this way Allan what car in the same sort of price range would give you what a zed does , especially yours it,s frigging stunning !!!!

Have you had a falling out ?

You have a normal (daily driver) car as well as your Z don't u Al ?

Yes Dave have the van and the vitara and just sold the buggie, so plenty to choose from. I am just not getting any use out of it. I am always in the van for work and dont want to go driving when I get home

Had the same thoughts for mine, but still havent finished it and havent drove it in two years :(

Barry

you guys need to put the daily driver keys away , stop thinking about fuel consumption and or little usage and wait for a summer meet to bring back the passion of the car! when your out in the sun with the roofs off, going to meet like minded people you will fall in love again.

i havent used mine since october when i buggered the box. been out to the garage today to try and get the box back in and now have damaged the pilot bush!! i sooo want my z back on the road now but she's too cosy in the garage LOL

I miss driving my zed sooooo much that on wednesday i was almost on my way to buy another :helpsmilie:

Sure keep using the daily driver, as i do, but i get home get the zed keys and go out. good way of relaxing. Zeds should be on the NHS.

Mine is driven every day rain or shine.

I know where your coming from Alan, mine has been parked in the garage now for some 3 months and of course the battery died. After this I did not bother with it and Jimmer has just got me a new battery. I fitted it yesterday and she started first pull, she sounded fantastic, I immediately noticed my full tank of fuel had evaporated down to 3/4 but thats life. I drove her out of the garage so the fumes would dispense and left her running. After about 10 minutes I knew that the road was yearning. I have a Discovery TD5 which I have been driving for ages and suddenly I am in the Zed, the boost is stilled turned up ready the the rolling road at Castle Combe that did not happen. Bloody 'ell she felt quick, bumpy and very urgent on the steering. It did not feel like my car anymore, it was strange ? I took her down to WSM and then up the M5 to stretch her legs, aah the feeling started to return, the feeling of power, the smile went across my face, the exhileration of speed. Feck me she felt quick, too quick and very positive on the steering. The Discovery is low geared and no ball of fire so you have time to play with the steering, plus your sat up high like on a horse, now I am on my arse and shooting about the motorway lanes like a learner. When I got back home I was beginning to think what on earth am I doing in such a Starship ? most people my age are in a home and wearing incontinence pads or even worse don't know who the Queen is.I sat there momentarilly thinking just the same as you. It's done about 2000 miles this year, cost a fortune to tax, insure and maintain, and is an accessory to your normal life, or is it ??? You get a headache and you take paracetemal, you get poor eyesight and you buy glasses.............you want excitement you buy............Viagra, no, a Zed. You can use it anytime, any place, any where and it's sure to make you happy. Change the other bits of your life to make the Zed more important, your lucky, yours is fixed, looking special, an eyecatcher, uptogether, it just needs driving, and its there when you want it, and it will make you smile. I am on my third Zed and I wished I kepted the first and spent the money on it that I have spent on the other two. Regret takes a lot of putting right, I know I have many.:crying:

bloody hell thats heartfelt!

I did that just over a year ago and regretted it ever since... thankfully I have just remedied that by buying Mr 8ace's one off him.

Just done 200 miles driving home and had more fun than John Terry without the guilt trip.

Wow.......well put!

TBH the money you will make from the sale - even for Gruntpa's fine example - is not really worth selling up for ATM. Unless of course you need the cash.

Sure my 300zx sits in the garage most of the time; but I still try and manage to get at least 3000 miles p/a out of it! If only to justify the insurance:lol:

It always cheers me up when I drive it. And even with another, newish, fast sports car as a daily driver, the Z still shines above it. A real testament to how good the 300zx was in its day..........and still is:cool2:

Richard:balloon:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

The strange thing is my car IS my daily driver ( which is why it,s wearing out , but that,s another story . lol ) but on a weekend if i havn,t been out on a saturday i,ve got to go for a drive on sunday , i get withdrawal symptoms and a need to get the buzz !! wierd i know , but true :thumbup:
