I finally found the car i had been looking for :D

Well chuffed with it.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1332790.htm

And another one not on the add.

This car really is shocking! book figures are 276bhp which put doubt in my mind before buying it but goes to show why it was a £73,000 car when new. My brother has a RX7 Full standalone engine management, full exhaust system, Induction kit giving him about 340bhp which in a rotary believe me is fast and the RX7 is very light and has a 50/50 weight ratio.

He is 64bhp up on the NSX and peformance wise there is nothing in it at all, we are neck and neck.

I was shocked!! expecting him to smoke me. He couldnt believe it either.

I'm glad i waited for the right one and didnt rush in.

Nice one! Just don't go putting a bodykit on it like your Z! LOL Nice subtle drop, some classy wheels and you're set. :)

Stunning mate, nice and classy just as she is, possibly lower a teenie tiny bit, nothing more needed in my opinion. NSX has always been on the top 10 list for me.

Some ideas... HRE wheels on this. Facelift rear bumper and some wings west skirts (look similar to the below) are about the only things that look good on the NSX.

LOL! I think that car has one of our DTA HID kits in it! :) (I seem to recall the registration)

Congratulations on the purchase - I used to have an emerald green/tan NSX-T back in 1996/97 when I lived in the US. Was one of the first F-matics too. Brilliant cars! If you haven't already, make sure you drop by the NSXCB website and say hello. Friendly bunch and excellent technical advise available.

Thanks guys...

Very Chuffed with it.

Yeap that's by idea going to combine the Type R kit with the facelift kit keeping the pop ups as that is the reason i went for pre face lift.

Also mix it up with a little Carbon in places.

I'm not going to do anything bond on and keep it to things i can swap back.

Although i might do the Sourcery rear bumper and go for Do Luck side skirts as they are very slick.

Yeap I live with my parents still.

Would like to up the power a little also, well maybe more than a little i guess.

I'm going to go for weight saving on this one.

I tried to take some more pics but me and the camera had a slight dis agreement, camera was too smart for it's own good haha.

very nice matey... good to see you went for the pop up light model... much tastier looking than the newer shape imo

^^^ Agreed , looks like a good example.

very nice indeed... not seen that colour before!

Originally i didnt want green and they are very rare.

I wanted a 1997 onwards, uk car, targa manual with decent mileage and full honda service but to get that car i had to be liniant on the colour.

Originally i wanted Yellow, White, Black or Blue.

I wasnt sure on the red as that was the most common colour, silver i didnt fancy, neither with Green, purple and gold.

But... I saw this one come up looked really nice and well looked after example.

I searched NSX Prime for Green ones and found a thread and omg!! there are some sexy one. Green and Carbon fibre looks awesome. So that's the drive.

As for the Supercharger comment, agreed i would like one but before i go down that road im doing the odd several things first and trying the Type-R final drive gearing. I think i will end up going down the supercharger route though.

thats amazing, i almost bought one the very same but higher mileage in broughty ferry a couple of years back, was gonna trade my DC5 Integra in towards it and i'll prob always kick myself for not going for it when i had the chance, funds just won't allow it anymore!, but amazing car mate and hope you enjoy every minute of it!

All the best,

Yes it has a HID kit :D

look very nice when on, adds a nice blue look to the lamps.

It looks factory fit. There are brackets for it and everything as if it was there from the factory. Which i know it wasnt as i dont think it was ever a option.

It might be one of your premium kits as it doesnt look like a normal one.

Do you do any parts for the NSX?

Could well be one of my premium kits - they come with bracket, etc and can appear to be OEM fit (fyi - our premium kits are in fact OEM equipment for some car manufacturers!)

And no, HID's was never an option on UK cars and I believe only the 2002+ JDM cars had them as an option.

I used to do quite a few NSX parts but as there was such little demand for them I stopped doing them when I sold the last few parts. What I do have (and which I think your car could do with) are the clear side repeaters! Sold loads of these over the years to NSX owners both here and on the continent. Can also get the various hose replacements in silicone. Other than that I can still get hold of the various NSX parts, both aftermarket and service items. Recently had an NSX order come through for Carbing strut braces - not exactly cheap but excellent quality. If you need anything then let me know, I'm on quite good terms with a number of NSX parts suppliers and could potentially save you some money.

I'm attaching a pic of my favourite "widebody" NSX.
