What did you use to stick it down on the dash? Luke suggested I use black mastik but I can't find it anywhere.

If you use mastic then you'll have problems removing it for maintenance. I've used double sided tape. Took a while to get it right but looks fine now.

does it stick down ok with the tape then? I wouldn't have thought it was strong enough.

Use STRONG double sided tape works fine :) I use stuff at work I could probably hang 100 kilos on. Other choice is velcro but this wasn't as good for me.

Sounds good to me, you couldn't get me some could you  Or recommend where I could get it?? :blushing:

Use double sided mounting tape for affixing number plates. I've used it for affixing all kinds of things in the past. You can buy it in pads and reels from Halfords for a couple of quid. Standard tape is 1mm thick but you can get it foam core in thicknesses up to 6mm if you need to fill any gaps

Cheers mate, I'll get some tomorrow. Was wondering how I'd get access to the mount once it was stuck down  Didn't think about double sided tape..lol

ive tried velcro with a couple of things but its shite - the two pieces stick together perfectly enough, but its guaranteed to come unstuck from the dash over time :(

i used 3M double-sided pads for my pod that sits on the dash at the top of the centre console - its worked fine so far

idd.. cant see why youd ever need to remove it?.. if you need to get behind it just take out the centre console. i had one on my old zed... araldite rapid :)

My bad, i thought he was referring to the triple pod housing mounted on the top of the dash

I was mate! Hence the triple gauge DASH mount title. Joely P's is what I would call **sole mounted. LOL
