diff oil doesn't really need changing. Not sure on the gearbox, but if you have a look and smell you should be able to tell if it needs changing.

if you do decide to change your diff oil... before you drain it, make sure you can undo the filler plug first!.. ask znut :lol:

I was lucky, both the filler and drain plugs came out of my diff :chris:

For some reason the figure of 60k miles is coming to me re the auto box fluid change........

 

........I'm not sure about time though - I guess someone like Jeff will answer your question for definite soon....

Doesn't the Nissan manual give information on oil change routines / mileages. As said the diff seems to be quite self sufficient but the gearbox would certainly benefit from a refresh, especially an automatic which should include the internal filter being cleaned.
