For anyone who's delocked your car, did you run extra wires anywhere for jumpstarting a flat battery? If so what did you use and where did you run it to?

Cheers

how would that work if you couldnt get into the car to turn it over???

or would it put enough life into the battery to open the car

maybe a hidden bonnet release may be an idea????

that was my point, a run down battery wouldn't have enough power to unlock the doors ;)

If you are NOT delocking the boot, you can climb through the boot when you have a flat battery

(Only way i can get in with a flat as my Door locks have been mashed at some point with the previous owner)

My old car was locked up with a flat battery.

After a lot of head scratching, i jacked it up one side + put a live feed jumper cable onto the feed to the starter, then put an earth on + used the 'plip' as normal.

I use a hidden boot release as i have no key lock on the boot. Had to use it only last night lol
