New to all this so some help would be good

 

Engine out replace all the pipes, PCV, temp sensors etc. Also removed egv and water bypass.

 

Anything else???

Core plugs , there,s a couple at the back of the engine , these can corrode from the inside out , i did mine just in case . ;)

You might find the rocker cover gaskets are leaking aswell .:headvswal

I want to get the zed done for the spring so have loads of time to play with it.

 

When the car is running I want it to be spot on and will not have to touch it for a few years

apart from oil and filter etc.

rear main seal for one....if you have a TT (?) maybe do turbo oil feeds change to braided hoses...turbo water pipes change them too...gaskets as well...new o2 sensors...studs for downpipes maybe if they are corroded etc

(i know you can do these with engine in) cam seals....belts, water pump, thermostat, tensioner bla bla...60k service kit basically
