Right! I've pretty much decided on the rims I want. However, what I haven't decided on is what tyres to put on them.

I was thinking that for the front I'd put on a 255/35/18 on a 8.5" width rim.

For the rear, a 275/30/18 on a 9.5" width rim.

The offset measurements for the fronts are 30 and the rears are 35.

What I really want to know is if anyone else is running this combo, or very close to it, and if they've found that something rubs on this or that.

As for variables, everything in the arches is currently stock.

^^ too much stretch.

Optimum tyre sizes for those wheels are 8.5" fr (245 40 18 )and 9.5" rear (275 35 18).

The width of the tyre gives a percentage of the profile. So for a balanced look, you select a slightly smaller profile for the rear.

I've got 255 35 18s on the front mate and have no problems. On the rears I've got 275 35 18s and am having a hard time with my rear driver side tyre hitting the arch on bad bumpy roads. But that has to be due to a bad suspension or something as the passenger side does not hit what so ever. So if you got a good suspension setup, you should be fine..:)

265 x 18 rear and 235 front and is just right.

i will be running 225/45 on the fronts on a 9" rim and 255/40 at the rear on a 10" rim. but im looking for a bit of a streched look.

That sounds pretty good to me. Double checking the profiles I came up with, I found the overall circumference would have ended up being slightly smaller than with the stock wheels and tyres on.

However, I might still go for 255's on the front, I'm really not a fan of the "stretched" look.
