I am on the search for a new company car and always liked the bold styling of the 300C but I was wondering what they are like to live with? Are they comfortable? Good on diesel (for a 3litre)? Does anyone have any experience with them? Sensible comments appreciated.

I spent 9 years working for Chrysler so followed the 300c from concept to reality lol.

They are very comfortable indeed, and the 3.0 CRD goes really well for a big car. Fuel consumption is also good considering the size and weight of it. Plus I think they look bloody fantastic.

The 'metal part on the front' that Allan pointed out is probably an aftermarket grille- the standard ones are mostly chromed plastic. best thing to do is go have a look and a drive of one, and make your own assumption from there. Put it this way, if I had the money - I'd have one. ;)

I reckon they do look good - even if they are a little "pimp daddy" Just stick to black or gun metal grey and you won't go wrong!

They're based on the previous model Mercedes E-class which is also not a bad thing! Great value for money; especially "nearly new" because they depreciate like a stone. That means you get a lot of car for your money.

Engine wise, it's the Mercedes 3 litre diesel so it should be smooth, refined, fast and economical enough.....

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

they do look nice, very pimp and drug dealerish and the estates are hooge lol

ideal for bodies:D

Once they come down a bit in price ive promised myself an estate one as a daily runner :D

They remind me of the Anthill mob

I drove one all the way to Brighton when I picked up my last 300zx

I was thining of getting on insted of the supra. They are very comphy indeed and have enough poke to. think they do around 38mpg 0-60 around 8 secs.

Plus they look soo cool and big on the road

All I am really after is comfort and economy (Strange for a 23yr old I know!) as I am looking to buy a Corvette C3 for the weekends. Business insurance is quite expensive on them, £1,100/12months. Anyone got any tips to lower the premium? First time I have had to provide my own insurance as going down the allowance route.
