Can anyone post any pics of double din units fitted in a zed ? My local ICE store said 'oh yes we'll just chop out the dividing bar dont worry it'll look great'

 

so.....need to see if he's right.....

He's wrong - the resulting hole will be too big and it will look cr*p

As above. Simply 'chopping out' the divider is going to look pants. I bought a custom made one from Japan.

ALternatively can anyone recommend a head unit with a motorised screen other than the Kenwood which seems a bit steep to me at about £1200 inc GPS ?

to be honest theres loads on ebay. Just search through GPS cd dvd player. get one for around 200. Dont be worrying of buying from hong kong, i have twice. You get a tax bill a few days later.

have a gander on ebay pal,,they got some touch screen double din dvd/dvb/cd/gps stereos on there,,,brand new set you back around £300....try to get one thats already here instead of the ones from hong kong...
