Well over priced maybe but getting bids of $45000 by the looks of it.Anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay.As long as peeps keeping saying that zeds dont fetch good money and are not worth much the e bay shitters changing hands for £1500 will drive down prices on the classier examples such as the ones owned by some members on here.

No thank you, I'm a proud owner of a Zed (and have been for almost six years now), but I'm also realistic and know what the real value of Zed's are these days! Anyone can dream that their car is worth loads of money, but I don't live in 'Cloud Cuckoo Land' and am totally intouch with reality!

You have to bare in mind though Dave that customised cars tend to go for a lot more money in the US. Especially ones that are done to a very high standard. Not to mention the fact that Z32TTs in the USA go for more money than over here. Different market. Not to mention the fact that there is a real abundance of crap over in the UK. It's not quite the cult car it is over here.

Here in Sweden, the quality of all the Zeds are very good. Age is on average app 17 years, (most cars from 1992/1993) but all cars are kept in good condition. The last model that came in 1996, is hardly obtainable. They were quite expensive as new, so perhaps that is why no-one can afford not to keep the cars in good shape. Average mileage is around 200.000 km (130.000 miles) so they are also well used. I think this still is a great car in spite of the age. :D:D

I bought from Switzerland a 300ZX from 1996 with only 25.000 km (15.000 miles) on the counter, and paid only £17.000 for it. It was completely as original. After boosting up the engine, above 600 BHP, the car can be sold here in Sweden for more than £50.000. So there are always someone out there willing to pay for special cars......:smash:

it didnt sell, its been relisted, not the first and defo not he last, again it has lots of bids but cant see it ever going for more than about 15K if he is lucky. i wonder how much was spent on it. ebay is full of scroungers who want everything for absolutley nothing, hench why shit zeds go for peanuts, anything half decent with a normal price never sells, i know, ive had an ebay business for ages and its a pain in the arse.

In fact yes i do, although there are some cars the lift doors look good on. Lambo doors belong on a lambo IMO.

I am of the opinion that the 300ZX has a fantastic design package. From the tail lights to the wonderful V6 engine. Which is one of the smoothest engines to grace a sports car IMO. The only thing i deem an acceptable mod on a 300zx is after market wheels.

Why people play with the 300ZX lights i dont know, they are a classic design already.

I have been in one of my Italians and have pulled along side a couple of 300ZXs with the "Ferrari style lights". I always give the thumbs up because i love them. But i do want to shake them and shout, "what have you done to the beautiful lights mam". :(

It seems that some Zed-owners are not properly proud of our cars?? Why compare to other cars when we have probably the best sport car ever made? :dance:

I would never be interested in any substitute like Ferrari or Lamborghini. They are overpriced with poor quality. You can hardly drive such a car 50.000 miles. End the maintenance cost is skyrocketing. A 6000-miles service costs £5000 here in Sweden. The smallest side window in the rear seat costs £2500.

These cars are a big joke, if you ask me. They are not ment to be used.
