...located at the back of the engine bay in the centre - wiring has snapped at the top and the bottom. any idea what it is? im pretty confident its not the idle control switch as thats yellow and situated further along.

run a diagnostic, if ya get 34 then it's the dett. sensor, i personally think it is, may have to re-locate a new one to the top of the plenum if you can't repair the wires, or you could bypass it....

pretty sure that is the dett sensor and with those wires broken off you would be in safety!

Hi dave, as already mentioned, it's either the dett or passenger o2....

 

Looky here, might be of help..... dett at the rear, o2 in front of it!

Ive just been out again and i can only see the one connector, lol! there is another one that's unplugged - dont know if an AIV/EGR bypass would render it useless...

det sensor mate, i might have a spare connector, i will have a look.

Check ecu if it shows 34 then you have it.
