Hi all, The engine is pretty much ran in now and I want to take it somewhere to be mapped properly.

Does anyone know where I should take it and approximate costs?

 

Also I am running a normal ECU with a chip in to run the 740 nismo injectors. Do I need to purchase a different EVCU or anything? If so what should I go for and where do I get em

With you using the Stock ECU mate, there's only 2 i know off that do it.

1 John dixon who has his own system and does this on both the road and dyno, cost depends on how long it takes him and the cost of the dyno session.

Once done, he burns the settings onto another chip and that replaces the chip you already have.

There is often possibilities that the current chip is not to far away from what it is best at anyway, thus costs are not great.

 

2 Rising sun performance ( skyline tuners/builders) have the equipment to change maps in Nissan ECU's.

you could go down the route of getting it "chipped" (EP ROM) which is a basic, less custom alteration

He already has a chip mate, couldn't run his 740cc's correctly otherwise.
