Well, as days go by, I am seriously thinking about putting some money aside for an eventual colour change. Most likely a Nissan colour. I like the KH6 pearl white a lot. Glows nicely in the sun.

 

BUT, the longer I keep it, the more I fancy a change. I want something a little more crisp and/or vivid.

 

Body will have some very minor changes. 99-spec front bumper being the main one. The rest will be as-was except with the addition of UK spec glass.

 

....and, shock horror, maybe some side skirts. I only really like a few. Kaminari and Stillen being the main two. Now.....this might sound odd as I can't stand the wings west kit for the Z. It's nearly as ugly as the Veilside stuff.....BUT, I've always wanted to mod their skirts to get rid of that awful and pointless little vent in the side. The skirts themselves (minus the vent) are actually quite nice and sit just below the swage line. Mate that with a 99-front and it would work well. The 99 front has a different angle than the stock bumper on the dropsides and sits flatter on the sides than the original bumper. Because of that, the contour of the sill sections aren't quite as much of a match as they could be. So, Wings west skirts without the fieldmouse vent would work well IMO.

Or possibly the super white pearl of the new 370Z (which I think is called Glacia pearl white). I like the Lexus pearl more, but want to keep the colours Nissan.

 

 

I reckon you should slap a 99spec on the front and have nice big shiney front mount tucked in neatly behind it and then leave well alone imo of course.

Si, I would keep it the same colour mate, if you feel the need, get a fresh coat of KH6 on it, or if you must have a colour change, go with that lexus pearl white.

Your car looks lovely the way it is, and your interior (which is the nicest 300 interior I have seen) compliments it well too.

I'd paint her lambo orange with black deep dish wheels with a chrome rim,,,black the top bits of the roof and limo tint the glass to give it the panoramic roof look,,leave the rear hatch orange,,will look phat pal,upgrade the lights and if u can get some lambo doors,,get a low level spoiler as i personally think the high level do spoil the car,inside get all black leathers with orange or white piping....

Silly me,,just seen who the chapy is,,man that ride is nice as it is,,look nice in white,,but if ur gona paint her,,go for sumat different,,lambo orange with the slight pearl flip,,get gallardos in that colour,,,keep your wheel and powder coat the centres black,,keep the rims chrome,,u got upgrade lights so just get a llambo door kit,,bobz ur uncle,,but as it is,,it very nice,,i seen the 370z in white the other day,,looked very nice...

I think its a good idea, bayside blue with a Stillen kit is the route I would go, I am sure whatever you choose the car will remain one of the best ! Sometimes a new challenge is needed.

Why waste more cash on what is already a stunning example?

I do. But spending 2k - 3k on a decent respray will be cheaper than going for an NSX which I can't really afford anymore after recent house move.

what i dont get is why do an old car up like its a new one?the money you will spend respraying the one you have for that and the sale of ur current 300 would buy you a new spec 300zx with all the new spec bumpers lights etc.
