I have sourced an EBC. But just fitting 1.2mm jets this weekend to see how it is. This will only give about 12-14PSi max...but will be safe opposed to 1mm ones. They will only be staying in a week.

Narrr, it's a new engine with very good compression and strong turbos. It'll respond well enough to 1.2 jets. The EBC will control a little more boost safely when I fit it. :)

My car is very much modified. The boost increase is something I've planned on doing for a very long time, but has been the last thing to do as I wanted to make sure everything else was cock-on. :)

i got a set in my bedroom to go in when get my EProm,

1mm = 14/15PSI ?

Typically, but it all depends on the condition of the engine. One that's not got the best compression or turbos takes a smaller jet to get more boost. But a strong engine with good turbos will respond much better. Best to start off with a smaller jet to see how well it responds on boost.

0.8 and get this;):D

you will be 100% safe Si on 1mm jets. no dett or anything like that i also get no spiking :)

If i was you i would wait for the end of the week to get your ebc. As the jets are a pita to get back out once they are in.

I have spare hoses. :)

I have spare hoses. :)

no need Si...pull up from bottom and you have about 6" spare.put the tips in your mouth 1st to wet them and they slide in taper end first...dont use grease as it can get lodged in tiny holes and even 14psi cant blow it through and you'll end up with unlimited boost;)

Your doing it right Si,Start large and work down,much safer that way.Some peeps maybe running .8 tips but they may have boost leaks they are not aware of and need to run the small size to compensate for pressure losses.

Nope, not yet. It's a strong engine with very good turbos and it's only a mild boost upgrade. I might start buying some complimentary mods though that maybe I could transfer, like a lighter flywheel, lightened pulleys etc.

Maybe one day I'll go for a mental engine, but would sooner get it repainted in bayside blue. :)

Ok matey go for the mods, thats cool, but, do not change that colour!! That is one very nice looking 300 matey, the colour is superb. I have seen your zed and it is amazing. Don't go for a paint job Si, it looks too cool to change!!
