Firstly although mentioned elsewhere I would like say a very big THANK YOU and WELL DONE for those involved in the organisation of what I and many others consider the best meet for a long time.

Also I would like to thanks the members who where able to attend and for the warm welcome shown to myself, Jamie and my brother Alan, it felt like a real meaningful event that I hope will continue to hold the 300zx forum together and of course maintain its title of the biggest and best 300zx forum in the UK.

Also it cannot go unmentioned that you guys voted me for two awards that was unexpected but never the less very welcome and I thank you all who was involved with that.

Anyway enough of the gushy stuff ,

How did everyone get on with the ConZult checks and adjustments we did? we will be sending you all the results in printed form so that you can use them for reference and as a set point within your service history etc.

As most of you know we are extremely familiar with ConZult diagnostic and the tuning/ set up improvements that can be achieved using it.

To this end we do know what is general common set up and sensor faults but having 35+ back to back diagnostic tests it has confirmed what we already knew but the details still were a little surprising.

Of 35+ tests only one engine required no adjustments, we did reveal the most common set up fault and that was basic throttle balance, this is very important and should not be overlooked as it effects performance, drive ability and fuel economy let alone the driving experience.

So I will be producing some kind of graph / table to support the results and their meaning so it is easy to read, but as mentioned above only one single engine was set up ok, the remainder all except one required among other things the throttle balance to be corrected, one of those was so incorrectly set the right hand butterfly was not even starting to open until the engine had reached 2k rpm !! that also means that wide open throttle was not achievable, I am sure the owner of that zed ( unnamed,, lol) will have noticed a real difference in how it runs.

Ok well there you have it a well organised and friendly meeting that has been a long time coming and hopefully means the continuation of many successful meets both nationally and locally.

WELL DONE YOU GUYS.

Sounds like I missed a good one but I will be there next year. If 34 running cars needed adjustments I hate to think how many adjustments your making on mine at the moment

NIce one Jeff....

......I look forward to seeing the results.

It's amazing what a little tweaking following a Conzult can do - my Z runs so much sweeter & cooler, with better response since I collected it from Jeff a couple of weeks ago......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Your always working and talking about Zeds all the time(even on your days off). You must do you lindas head in LOL. Top job Jeff, Jammie.

top job jeff and thankyou for your time including your lads..it was a real asset to the w/end and carried out in a very profesional manner and twas a joy to see so many members happy with the service.

cheers brian:)

good stuff... i noticed the other day that my butterflies seemed to be slightly out of sync, but i didnt want to mess with it. how were you checking these, with the pipes removed by eye? maybe a little write up on the procedure when you get time as its such a common fault and overlooked parameter? :D

Also it cannot go unmentioned that you guys voted me for two awards that was unexpected but never the less very welcome and I thank you all who was involved with that.

Can you PM me your Address mate, so I can send your Awards? :D

 Nice one Jeff, :D

Can i say, after only meeting you once! what a dedicated and proffesional guy you and your team are!

Luckily after owning 1 of my zed`s for over 7 years and more recently my convertable, I have had quite a trouble free time with my car`s, but minor faults and servicing that did need doing, i found it hard to find the right person who knew exacly how to solve those problems!

I now however, would be more that happy to make the 3 hour round trip to your garage, to repair and service my car`s, safe in the knowledge that it will be looked after by proffesionals and the zed passion would be input into my car.

So thankyou once again for the free conzult, proffesional advise and the tweaking of my car, which `yes` was me with the poorly adjusted right hand butterfly, which i can report has made one hell of a difference!!

So hats of to Jeff and the boys at ZEDWORLD, Keep up the good work and i will see you all on the 26th september for my exhaust swap! ;)
