Finally got these fitted after I received them from W1NG gawd knows how many months/years ago! Got a new set of vents from Baz and drilled them into the covers, then spent ages carefully filing down the edges until the covers fitted into the indentation around the stock vents. Re-fitted the daylight sensor and hey presto. Not a perfect job but I do like the look - I have carbon fibre-look B-pillar covers too. Fingers are full of plastic splinters! :smw:

Not feeling those; sorry. Looks very well fitted though, seen some horrendous jobs on those. But they sit nice and flush. :)

i know where youre coming from Si - the photos dont really do them justice as in the flesh they aren't quite as bright as they are made out to be. im fairly happy with them, but im more happy with the rear seats ive just retrimmed  took about 2-3 hours to do, and ive lost enough flesh and blood to make an extra finger from doing the job but i enjoyed doing it. just need to do the front two now

I think it looks good - I guess its a detail thats often overlooked!

Careful mate, i have these.

The screws have all gone rusty.

How did you find fitement? My dash was so bad i had problems fitting them as the dash kept popping them off as it was so badly sun damaged.

the only problem i had fitting them was that they initially overlapped the lip. it looks like overall the right shape, but they didnt sit over the stock vents properly, so i drilled and screwed them together how i wanted them, and then spent a good few hours filing down the other edge until the whole thing sat flush with the dash. the screws look ok so far - if they go rusty then its a simple job to pull out the vents, replace the screws, and then push them back in.

They look great Dave mate :)

cheers fella - i think by themselves they could look tacky or just stuck on for the sake of it - but gradually im finding myself going down the carbon fibre / subtle track look, so they'll be part of a theme :)
