i bought a car for its gearbox [manual conversion].

it was smoking turbo seals gone.

the guy said he had stage 2 turbo technics turbos which i have had reconditioned and they were.

he also said he had uprated 555 injectors i put them in my car the tops were blue.

just wanted to know if theirs anyway of finding out if they are 555 injectors.

i have a chipped ecu and a standard ecu im running standard ecu at moment and still runs fine would 555 run as normal on standard ecu.

any help appreciated thankyou.

i would say that with larger injectors and aftermarket turbos you'd need to run the chipped ecu! in fact before cranking up the boost you DEFINATELY do! do you know what make/map it is?

standard ecu would flood fuel i think as the 555 injectors flow more, hence chip change. Not that i ever tryed a standard chip while running bigger injectors. 555's are purple colour if i remember rite
