i still have'nt found out who owned the silver wide arch with the super wide rims:bow:

Hi guys, I'll post my pics just as soon as I've sorted them out, oh and a bit of HD video that I took as well.

Personally I thought that today (Sunday) on the whole the show was crap! Qudos to the guys that did all the setting up, but a shame there was hadly any trade stands there, or refreshment vans (I was told this was down to the £750 charge!!) Basically I think we stayed just over 2 1/2 hours as most people were going by that time. It's a real shame, as I assume, with the weather being so much better, that Saturday was a much better show altogether!

Lets hope they sort it out a bit better next year. I did think the venue was quite good, not as good as Peterborough Show Ground though.

On the plus side I did manage to sort out a test drive in both the 370Z and the GTR :D

There were plenty of Trade Stands on Sat & Sun. Sun is the worst day to go for 1 day, as everyone is packing up to go home.

thanks for your concerns gary:o and as your reo you WILL be coming to jae next year

thats right................ she keeps spilling it..................down her throat:x:

i missed you this year graham, you know your non drinking calming influence on me:rolleyes: you were right about the sunday too people were packing up and leaving the show from about 8am (all clubs) its saturday is the big day really

Plenty? I'd of said a dozen at the most on Sunday, unless they were hiding ;)

And I'm sure the deteriorating weather didn't help. I would say that the 'weekender's' that had arrived on the Friday would of had enough by that time, but it's a shame because in previous years it was still an all-dayer on the Sunday.

My criticism was in no way intended for our club, or anyone who had put the effort into going, it was purely my views comparing it to previous years that I've attended and my total disappointment at what was once a great show event for the Jap calender. This wont stop me from attending next year, with Eliza, and I wish them all the best for next year with it as well. Hopefully it'll be an even bigger and better show then.

But there was one disappointment with the 300ZX.CO.UK stand....... the lack of attendees! In 2006, at Peterborough, we had something like 30-40 zeds on the stand.... so why weren't there more owners prepared to display this year? I don't see this as a fault of the club, I see it as a fault of the members! Now I'm sure that there would be loads of very genuine excuses, like mine (It's not roadworthy!) but there are loads of members who run their Zeds everyday ;) and how many members do we have?!

Moan over :D

ask the other half of the gang who attended zedfest... an unfortunate calendar double book driving the zed scene in half.

Yes indeed, very unfortunate!

i think we had almost 30 cars on display on the stand on saturday, and i know what you mean dave about the sunday, even our club founder craig with his wife and family arrived at the stand lunch time sunday and there were only about 5 of us left, but i think its a lot to do with very long distances that people have to travel home, plus all the club voting for awards is done on the saturday,

agreed , i had the best of intentions of driving up to zedfest on sat to meet up with you guys but i was a "little under the weather" to say the least, hope you all had a good time

always nice to see people with enthusiasm for the club, and could tell you had it in spades :D

We had almost 30 Zeds on the stand on sat, I counted 28 at one point, not as good as previous years I agree, but as you know, many many members have sold up and moved on, or too many Zeds are off the road. Go on the Sat next year dave, you will have a better day I guarantee it.

Sorry About that Craig. I was really looking forward to meeting ya. :(

Just to also add....

It's good to go for the one day etc, but IMO, to experience the full JAE Atmosphere, you need to make a weekend of it. :D
