I know its not original, but I think it suits the zed a lot better with a completely black roof!

I'm also starting to like the red colour :x: but I still think that come winter it'll be off for a complete change ;)

Thanks guys.. I'll take some more pics next week once she's MOT'd and I can take it to a decent photo location

I like it!!! Can you get some more piccies up from the side angle.

I may do this myself.

Al.

nice one mate.thats what iam upto next.looks good.

took me ages to figure out wtf i was looking for XD

Looks good, i also have Black roof panels.... and door panels... and bumpers well pretty much all of it is black XD

Do you have any pictures with the t-tops removed mate? Interested to see how it looks that way, too :)

Great mod. One I've been planning to do for yyyeaaaaarrrrrssss and never have! Would have done it gloss black though and tinted the rear screen slightly.

Looks great - done the same on mine - only painted the rest of the car black too :D

I admit it does look really nice, and really well done!

Did mine too, looks sooo much better. I think the satin/matt just gives it an edge, i think gloss would just look abit too much, the centre bar and roof rubbers are matt so it just blends in nicely.

But the glass and B-pillars are gloss. ;)

I intend to do my centre bar gloss black.

Did mine gloss back originaly and it looked good but starting to fade a bit now so gotta keep polishing. Next year gonna do it matt black and then laquer after so it looks like one big swooping glass panel from windscreen to rear.

Can't picture it in gloss Si, show me a gloss one and I might be convinced.

ps ignore the wipers they are now as new with no shiny bits poking through.

yeah that seems to work better on the white, I just wanted to keep the matt look with the wipers/scuttle/roof trims.

I still think you gonna be in 2 minds about doing it on yours with it being as pefect a stock car looking as it is. Just something so right about it.
