Not fitted it yet as I am collecting it on Wednesday. Never thought the 'Race' wheel I had really complimented the car and felt that something a little more old-skool and a little more luxurious would fit the interior a bit better too.

I always felt that my Race was slightly too small, being only 320mm. It was fun in some situations, but was just too small for me.

I have found a Momo Daytona and will be collecting it later this week. :)

Daytona is awful, Race just doesn't suit the car too well. Stock one would be best.

I think the standard steering wheels are hard to beat as well, maybe if they were a bit smaller they would be great...

I only like my stock steering wheel for two reasons;

1. It is the wheel which came with the car (So originality)

2. It has the cruise control buttons on it.

I can't think of any other redeeming features lol.

Sorry about the quality of the photos. Phone + garage isn't a great combo!

Anyway, fitted it, like it, will keep it. MUCH more inkeeping with the car, bigger than the 'Race' which I thought was too small and just generally is easier on the eye. Doesn't stand out as much as being a non-OEM type part.

...and yes, that's a mat on top of a mat! LOL. Like to keep the mats clean!

Cool. I am sure it's not to every one's taste. But I wanted something 'less' eye catching....as strange as that sounds. Something that blends in better. This does that very well. Your eyes aren't drawn immediately to it. The Race just never looked like a factory, or 'optional' type wheel.

I do still like the 'race', but would look far better in a track inspired car than a fast GT car.

I have to say originally looking at the wheel i wasn't keen but having seen it in situe I do quite like that, good choice buddy :D

Thanks mate. :)

Mine is slightly different to the other Daytona. Mine is the one for the boss not the OEM Daytona and it also has a dark grey centre, not a black one.

ALSO, I am awaiting a new Momo horn push and will probably be changing the silver bolts in the centre to black ones.

I'm going for a slightly more flamboyant steering wheel but seeing as the interior of mine is so plain apart from the red leather I think it'll go down nicely and compliment the chromed door handles :)

I'd just spray them gunmetal grey, subtle but give a little bit of contrast to all the black and would match the horn push then

Think a Momo Nero would look better in yours Nick.

Mmm nice, maybe a bit too dark for my liking though. Everything else is black in there so it'd be nice to have a little bit of chrome. I still wiah i had my momo v6 like andy isherwood has but my bitch of an ex refuses to answer my calls so i won't be getting that back :(

Yeah i might have to but that's £60 down the drain for something i had already, along with the other £2k she went off with and the car :(

I'll have to see if i can find another I guess

Another thing I am happy with regarding the new wheels is the fact that I can actually see what speed I am going over 50!

what size is the new wheel si ?

Look very nice mate, id be interested in the size too as I have a 320mm and cant see anything on the clocks lol.

I do like the new wheel, been thinking about a Momo nero for myself, fed up having to put my head on one side to see the clocks so going for a slightly bigger one next time.

You sure yours is 320??? I always thought mine was until I measured it and it's actually a 350! Even that I felt was too small for a road car.

My new one is 365 which is the same size as the sports one in my Leon and feels spot on. Stock is 380 isn't it?
