they go from the turbos to the front of ya back boxes (i think from memeory), i assume they are decatt pipes

they are called divorced downpipes... the idea is to separate the air coming from the turbine and the air coming from the wastegate in an attempt to create a smoother, less turbulent exit airflow through the exhaust... so you answer your question... the twin end bits attach to your turbo.

those 2fast2cool decats are v good value for money and are pretty good quality for the price, several people on here have them fitted, including myself :D

would the downpipes fit a uk series 2 car with a pre cat i know the drivers side will but would they fit on passenger side?

The Down Pipe to Turbo gasket in that picture is incorrect, it clearly shows a center bar, which wouldn't fit because of the separator... see this one, Red for the gasket and Blue for where it is supposed to go!

As you can see from this quick pic of mine, that are waiting to go on, there is NO center bar!

I think I just removed the centre bar when I fitted mine. Its bolted on and doesn't work with the stock turbos. I think that was the case, but it was a while ago now and my memory sucks. Either that, or it came with both style of gasket. I do remember noticing the issue, but it was'nt a problem, whatever the solution was.

Aaaahhh, got it now, they go in place of the original elbows coming from the turbo.... Numpty... Is that an easy fit with the engine in? I have had mine out 3 times now so should know these things :xxx: but, to be fair, it is friday night! :duffer::duffer::duffer:

I would'nt say it was an easy fit, but its not too bad. The top bolts can be pretty hard to do up but you can reach them from above if having trouble from below.
