When i bought my Zed it came with these mods, can someone tell me what extra BHP they add to the std 300 BHP (i think the std is 300...is that why they are called 300zx..)

 

2 Fast 2 Cool divorced wastegates with cat removal pipes

5Ziggens Cat back single exit exhaust

HKS Air Filter

Get Greddy ECU - set up for UK fuel

Boost Jets - 14psi

estimate 350-380,

fyi: its called a 300zx because its a 3.0l... similarly the 240 was a 2.4, the 260 was a 2.6... 350z a 3.5, 370z a 3.7 etc etc ;)

id remove the BHP altogether until you get it on a rolling road :p

I'm just after some general figures so when people go "WOW! What a car, how much power has it got" i dont say, "Cant tell you , i haven't been on a rolling road..":D but can give them a general estimate

 

I have to say, when i owned a MR2 before, even though it looked pretty special, the zed, even in its delapitated state (sorry mark) it gets far more looks and turns more heads..

Cheers yassa, well all i know is it's bl00dy quick when i put my foot down...one second i'm behind 3 cars doing 60, next, i'm in front of them..

 

is it usual when accelerating enthusiasticly in a straight line, for the rear end to snake a bit? bit scary...
