...upon hearing some good feedback from this thread I decided to use them to set up the brand new aftermarket suspension initially installed by Zedworld.

I have to say...and only the guys that have already been there can know what I mean by this...I cannot ****ing recommend this company enough!!!

I spent near on seven hours there today (and thats after spending two hours at Zedworld for a few tweaks), and loved every minute of it. Chris' knowledge not only of suspensions but also of performance (esp. track day performance) in general is second to none, and why he's not closely involved with WRC or the like is a mystery to me

Basically, I had KYB, Eibach and Powertrix parts recently installed. I loved the firmness of the new ride, and the handling seemed to improve over my old stock suspension...that is until I drove it after the propor geometry setup. After literally hours of fiddling, tweaking, measuring (and just a little bit of hammering and blowtorching ;) ) he took me out for a spin.

Bare in mind that today the weather chucked it down, and the roads were quite wet. First of all we did the roundabout test. Chris took the newly setup Z with me as a passenger to a small, tight roundabout, and proceeded to drive in constant solid circles around it, in the wet, at a steady 23mph. it took less than 3 seconds to complete each circuit of the roundabout. if i hadn't been there i would never have believed that a powerful RWD could achieve that.

the next test was straight-line performance. we found a safe, quiet country road. Chris dropped it into first, folded his arms, and anchored the gas pedal. we shot off down the wet road in a dead straight line. then, at the top of the rev range, he slammed on the brakes until we were back at rest. all the way through this he didn't need to touch the steering wheel once - the car (again, on a WET road), accellerated brutally and came to a halt in a perfect line. i still am absolutely gobsmacked at how a powerful RWD car could perform so precicely even in the dry, let alone in the wet.

we found a pub car park, and swapped places. straight away, i found the car was working with me, for the first time for over 6 years. as i entered corners at speed i found myself no longer dividing my concentration between my driving, and expecting something to step out and having to be ready to catch it. i could approach a corner 100% confidently that i knew what the outcome would be. i am astounded at what a transformation such a little bit of tweaking can produce.

Chris is a splendid chap with a good sense of humour, an unquenchable passion for motors and performance, and an enthusiasm for customer's cars that's second to none. It was also a pleasure to meet Matt, and Chris' wife Jayne. Guys, I cannot thank you enough!

oh, and my Z weighs exactly 1600kg (with half a tank of petrol and no driver), with 53/47 weight distribution

7hrs? How much did they charge for that!?!?!?!

not nearly as much as you're thinking ;)

Will definately be looking them up when i get the V8 on the road, the suspension will be totally out by the point.
