Just out of interest, how much did you spend on your zed when you bought it.

 

I know mine was a total bargain and fully working, needed the odd bit of cosmetic stuff on the outside, nothing major, any work ive done myself, the most expensive was doing the clutch. £200.

 

M reg UK TT Manual £1500. everything working and it still gets used every single day.:hyper:

Bought for £4200 in may 03.....traded in my mk1 mr2.....money spent mostly on servicing and repairs..only upgrade is the exhaust....

My first zed which was a 1992 uk manual tt cost me £2800 and the one i got now cost me 6k, a month down the road the turbo seals went, thats when I decided to start spending the cash on mods, it ows me about 15k.

Mine 1990 UK TT cost me £2500 and has since been scrapped.

Still looking for the next one.

mine was 1500 ukl with loads of service history receipt and pictures of the respray.... 70odd thousand on the clock and in......Blue!! :D

First zed was a black 95 uk spec tt manual which cost me £5k didnt spend money on it (now sussex stus)

 

Second cost me £6800 a pearl yellow uk spec tt manual and spent £18k on it (broke that up)

 

Third cost me £3000 a red jap tt swb manaul didnt spend anything on it (was shreks think it was written off)

 

Forth cost me £5000 a pearl yellow jap tt manual didnt spend any money on (did belong to tony and sold it onto ozzx)

 

Fifth cost me £8000 a lwb in silver, was tuned already but i broke it and ended up spending £40k on it before breaking it up to get my money back

 

So thats me ;)

Mine cost me £3500 after a long haggle with the chap, spent just over £1000 so far on small uprgades/replacements and a recon p.s pump.

Paid £4k for it in November 2002 and spent around £4k on it this includes all new parts, servicing, tyres and respray.

93 UK tt manual Black £7500 4 years ago, spent about another 5k on it since then and more to go ahhhhhhhhh...

90 jspec tt auto in black last year £1350 with dodgy autobox ..£1700 later now a manual with efficient cooling and lots of other goodies l

£1500 in July 07, i dont bother adding up what ive spent on it since or in the future. Dont do it to see what it might be worth in the future, just for the love of it.......ish

91 j-spec TT paid £750 needed exhaust little body work( just pannels) a spray and timing belt think so far in total i've spent £1600. Could have prob bought a better one but i like working on my car, and i wanted to learn all about them before i spend up over of 5K so i'm happy.

first Zed : black 1992 n/a manual bout 6 years ago (4k) stolen

Second: Silver 1991 TT auto bout 6 months ago (1k) spent £400

Third (current) Red 1994 TT manual (£850) so far spent around 1.2k on upgrades and repairs and prob another 4-5k next couple months on the other bits iv got planned for it Very nice car so far, i dont think il be selling this one.

£3500 back in Feb 2007 and have spent more than that again on it, and its been worth it.

 

just wish I could see that much come back for it when it has to go :(

Bought my first Z back in 1999 with 10,000 miles on the clock. It was immaculate when i got it £10,000.

 

Bought my current Z for £3500, sold lots of parts from it for about £1500-£2000 and have spent 18 months and a fair bit of cash stripping it down and rebuilding it!

Bought it for £3800 3 years ago with 60k on the clock and have spent a further 6k in those 3 years keeping it on the road. Still not stopped spending though :)

Bought mine in 2006, paid £2000 na auto 1992 jap import,replaced the wheels replaced the engine replaced the gear box now replaced the sounds,so far inclueding the price of the car its cost me £4500,and hopefully just the interio left to do.

mine cost £800 in December 2006 brought it with a slight missfire as the seller put it(ie running on one cylander), but it did come with full wings west kit, nismo 555 injectors chipped ecu brand new JWT exhaust system, full samco hoses and every panel covered in fast & furious style stickers. Cost me £500 for a new engine and everything else spent on upgrades totals about £8000

mine was £6k stock then i spent £15k on it then stuck it in to a JCB
