Just heard on news that no more Big Brother after next year's series!!

is anybody actually watching it this year ? Normally when its on its everywhere. usually several threads on every forum I frequent, inc here, all over the newspapers, in the news, on other tv programs, overhearing people talking about it.....but I not heard ANYTHING this year.

 

If i had'nt flicked past it on TV I would'nt of known it was on.

I have to say as a die hard BB fan the last 3 years have been shite and last year's was so bad i didn't bother watching it to the end but this series has had me hooked, the peeps in there have actually been quite entertaining without having to result to nudity (although one of them i wish she would!) :x: lol

 

Shame it's actually got good (my definition of good lol) just as they're about to axe it but then again it has had 10 years on the trot so i guess they have to move on to someone different eventually!

it will still be on, just not on channel 4, think channel 5 will buy it TBH, although its had its day, the only thing that keeps it going is there is often nothing else on our shite tv so people just watch for the sake of it.

Obviously it's not the most interesting program to watch every day, the arguements about who's eaten's who's bicuits, who's thrown beer on someone's pillowcase BUT as a social experiment to someone who works in the pyschotherapy industry it's interesting program to watch how people react and change to their environment.

 

There's been some very down to earth people in there this time which has made it easier to watch without all the ego's fighting in there and there's been some truly funny/touching moments in there as well as a few shocks and suprises.

 

It's a marmite programme really, either you love it or hate it but there is more than meets the eye you just have to let yourself get sucked in

Thank God for that! The worst excuse for entertainment ever to have graced the screens. Only 'Naked Jungle' was worse, but that's because no one wanted to see Keith Chegwin's maggot!

 

Reality TV generally is just awful brain dead drivel.

99% off people are overjoyed it's ending! You've only gotta look at people's status's on facebook for that!

They'll come up with some new shite for the brain-dead to watch though.

If they want TV ratings, they should put porn on! Far more entertaining, far more purposeful and much more enjoyable to watch!

I thought that was what BB was for, a bit of voyeur waiting for them to get naked. Lots of nudity in the early series, which had got less and less and now non-existent.....just like the rating figures...coincidence? hmmm LOL
