Picked up my car today from the docks :hyper::dance::dance::dance:

On my way home - almost home actually - and pull up next to another white Zed on a 'W' plate !!

Beautiful car with graphite R34 GTR alloys. Only inconsistency was the early spoiler (Series 2 or 3 maybe).

Is this the latest plated Zed ?

Wish I'd snapped a pic or two !

Is it possible that the W reg spotted is genuine and not just another DVLA cock up LOL.

That would be quite possibly the newest zed in this country if genuine!

to be honest for a 52 plate that engine bay looks a bit dated???

its not an actual 52 plate. wrong bumper for a start

Tis a DVLA cock up ;)

Great for the owner tho :D :hyper:

Would you be allowed to bring a 'W' car in yet ? Doesn't it have to be 10 years old ?

As long as there is a Model report, so it can be SVA'd you can bring any Import in.

Thats the only reason the Z32 has to be 10yrs+ , no model report for the SVA Examiners to SVA the car with.

how can it be W reg then?

if they stopped making the Z in 1999,

or does it go on the year the DVLA actually sort it or something?

The car could have been brought in before the SVA ruling was implemented, the guy paid for the SVA (expensive and unlikely) or a DVLA cock up as already said.

They stopped making them in 2000, so technically possible, but most likely a DVLA mistake. It happens, Registered by when it came into country instead of manufactured date.
