5 years or so ago, it was was understood that there were a high percentage of Auto's to Manuals in the UK, as the manuals were harder to find and more sought after

 

a couple of years later, polls showed that Manuals had the slight edge compared to Auto.

 

...how about these days ?

 

If you have a Auto converted to Manual, then choose Manual.

Will be interesting , to see who has what :D

Most that tend to come into the UK are autos. Those that are already here take manuals from breakers, auto boxes rarely get bought and sold on here.

My auto box failed and Zedworld did a manual conversion. Two things I've noticed, just how much you appreciate the raw power with a manual box and perversely just how good the auto box was at providing smooth delivery of all that power.... Both equally as good as the other in my opinion but the manual I think has the edge..... makes it less of a super duper go kart !

See the auto's have the rarity value now, I can just see in five years time adverts saying, MUCH SORT AFTER and VERY RARE Nissan 300zx AUTO, OK OK I can dream can't I.:slap:

mines auto, but from all the hype i hear of auto > manual conversions then I would definately go for it, pity my box is in perfect working order and I can't simply justify changing it as its worthless 2nd had even in good working order.

 

I've yet to drive a manual TT so don't know what I'm missing so more than happy with it at the moment.

Hi Mate, zeds back on the road now and I'm enjoying my first English summer for 18yrs, went to the halfway house meeting at the weekend and met some old and new face's, Yassa's arranged a meeting on the 19th near Maidstone and would be a nice run out for you and any other London boys.
