I am now struggling to decide what colour to spray my Z, I was going to go for a red, purple and blue flip paint or a kandy wine red. But I aint sure any more. I also like a metallic purple.

At the moment I am open to all colours and would like to see some pics of your favourite coloured Z

I used to like/have a bayside blue Zed (I think I was one of the first) but somehow you get bored with this color very quickly.

I now have 2 new favourites.

KR4 Sonic Silver

it's the silver used on skylines, but was also available for the '99 spec Zed.

it's slightly darker and has more metallic then standard Zed silver

it suits the Zed very well and gives it a classy look

and QN0 arctic white that was available for the 99-specs.

(pictures don't do it justice...you have to see it with your own eyes)

Eric I agree with you on the bayside blue when i looked at the R34 a few years ago I found the colour very pleasing but like you I am very bored with it now like I used to tell AndyP years ago blue is boring!

Im happy with my bayside Blue. It has so much colour change depending on the light that that your not going to get bored of it as quickly as other colours. It looks different from every angle. Every picture of bayside blue in this thread is a different blue to the next.

But I dont want you to do Bayside blue, it will become too common LOL. Im a fan of all candy colours, always liked the Candy Apple Red, but there are other candy colours.

The white one looks fresh and better than the blue in my opion.

If money isn't an object, IMO Tvr Spectraflare style paint is the best, I have always been a fan of flips, because you can't get bored of the colour.

But I do think Bayside Blue is a gorgeous colour on an R34, not convinced on the 300zx though... I also think super bright whites and pearls look nice, but it's all personal preference really, at the moment Renaultsport are making some nice colours, they do some beautiful colours on there Clios and Meganes, especially the Liquid Yellow Gold :D - Which I possibly will be getting mine sprayed ...

I do like that Liquid Yellow Gold. I used to like the old Megane sport yellow too, although nowhere near as nice as that new yellow(gold).

I do like that white. Shows off how big and wide it actuly is

I have to say that whilst I'm not a real fan of plain white cars.....

.........it does look very good on a Z32. Naf's car (The Rat) is one of the best here I reckon!

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Top one is like Karl300zx's old one and bottom like Tizer's . Not exactly the same but would have same overall look.

Not a Fan myself.

Surely for what it would cost to have a car sprayed in either of those marble type finishes you could have a really good glass out respray in a nice colour and a professional interior retrim, plus should you ever want to sell the car its going to be really difficult to find a buyer and you would have to let the car go for less that the respray cost.

I am really not keen on all this textured look paint jobs - they may seem a good idea on small things but once they're on a whole car they just dont look right IMO. No offense to anyone who has a paint job like that - aslong as you like it great, but i don't like them at all myself.

Correct, it's been proven it doesn't work in any shape or form! :hurl:
