put one side on to see how they sat. Andrei did say the tyres protruded slightly on the rears but is a little too far for my liking. Also after a good and suprisingly long searching through the brake dust found the rim size and offset which explains the rears overhang.

Shame really cos I liked the design a lot and could have got new polished sleeves to set them off. C'est La Vie :(

What wheels are they? any pics? you may get away with rolling and stretching the arch slightly, it's a common thing to do in Japan and the VW world, it's quite expensive about £120 per arch depending where you go.

I've seen that done not too fussed on rolled arches though always looks like a bit of an after thought to me.

No expert on wheels but its very possible a wheel company could machine the face of the wheel hub ( assuming enough material there) to move the wheel inwards, got to worth an ask.

Definately worth a thought may just have a phone around if it's doable and not too expensive.

I have 10" rims on mine with an offset of 29, plus I have flaired arches so it will be very hard to get these to fit and look wright, a shame because they look good.

be ok on a widebody I'll clean them up best I can and put them on the bay I think. They were'nt expensive as I got a bit knocked off so probably won't loose out shame though as they're a bit different to the run of the mill rims

Absolutely stunning mate. Seriously nice. I'd have those on my car with no questions asked. Suit a darker car though IMO. Glad you go them. :duffer:

Just some arch rolling is needed.

could also put some negative camber on the rears to help a little

now there's a thought . Would I need adjustable camber arms not a big problem as this is a planned job for the future anyways already got coilovers on there and camber arms is on the list but not the near future. I don't think i'll rush into getting rid of them I waiting to find out from a supplied how much the removable polished stainless lips are. That should help me decide :)

I'll have them if you ever sell. :)

Yeah, you'll need adjustable camber arms for sure. ESPECIALLY if you have coilovers.

outer lips are £160 each just had a reply back from performancealloys feckinel could buy a loverly new set of wheels for the price of 4 of those

think I'm gonna seel these on as the money is gonna be tied for a while and will probably go for something that will drop stragiht on rather than refurb/roll arches etc so if any of the above parties is after a set of project wheels PM me. I don't expect a lot for them as I didn't pay a lot for them.

Yeah, but 1/10th the quality. Decent quality wheels set a car off far better than cheapo monoblock halfrauds wheel/tyre package jobbies.

thought it was a bit out of proportion what there asking tho even if they expensive wheels. The wheels are sold with the concept of having a replaceable lip which sounds great. Mrs borrows the car , kerbs a wheel easy fix new lip ...but it's half the price of a full new wheel :headvswal cnuts

I'd get the lip repaired. You may find that even though they might be 3 peice split rims, the outter and inner lips maybe bonded or even welded.

Lip repair is easy enough to do. They will be made of high grade forged alloy which can be welded and polished with relative ease.
