Extra plug on loom

I raised this before but now have a photo of the extra plug that has no connector when Phil replaced the loom. Does anyone know if it is needed or what it is for? The car was a 91 UK Auto and is now Manual. The loom is new style with new style injector connectors and CAS plug.

    i thaught that stuff was on the opposite side,

     

    inhibitor switch etc

     

    but theres obviously more on the other side!
