There's a lot to gain if you do the other mods as well but you'd be needing pipework making and different mounts etc lpus bigger injectors, remap and other supporting mods.

If you can get them cheap it's worth doing but otherwise there's better turbo's available these days.

I have them on my car :)

i cant just plug and play then. is it a diificalt job to see what injectors i might have. basically im having my tubs recoditioned with 360 roller bearings and the oil seal has a lip or something or over but the chap sad for an extra 100 each tub hill bore out and put in bigger ,an upgrade to t28s. my car has goot a boost controll fitted and its going to go back on with a lmic.ps what other pipes will i need.the oil feed pipe to the tub is metal.

Those will be T28 hybrids then, which are different to a full T28 which is a much bigger turbo.

I don't think they are quite the same performance wise as the ones I have but they may well just bolt straight back on.

Still an improvement though.

If you have standard turbo's then surely you have standard injectors?

They are what many Turbo recon suppliers (TurboDynamics, Turbotechnics..etc) would call Stage 2 Turbos. Stock turbo housings but bored out with larger impellors fitted. Similar to the JWT Sport500 and a couple of the Z1 smaller turbo options.

Stage 2 would be stock housings. Stage 3 would be T28 5 bolt housing. The latter offering more potential.

For 100 extra I would definatly consider it worth it, providing your not paying more then 500 each for the stage 2 or 700 each for the stage 3. Your still limited by their overall size and wont be able to run high boost levels becuase of heat but they will make more power than stock.

I agree. I have been in a Z with these fitted (turbodynamics Stage 3 T28/t25) and running at 22psi.....except I was'nt told about this at the time and went to overtake a car and nearly gave myself a hearattack when it took off like a rocket ! LOL

I've got T28's and it certainly shifts! LOL

Still only running 14psi until I can get it mapped but the difference to stock turbo's at the same pressure is HUGE.
