I wanna know whether people prefer a nice tight ass or hicas? :rofl: :rofl:

If it's working ok then Hicas, I have electric Hicas not sure if better or worse than the hydraulic type. Like to keep bits like this on the car.

mine has never worked so i cannot comment. it also still has all the pipe work and no locking bar ????

Well, I've had an N/A and a TT and the N/A always felt more planted than the TT, I had the TT looked by Mike at MJP and all was working so I have to say a "tight ass"... in both ways too... LOL

When I bought the car, the hicas system was worn and gave an awful feeling, but I refreshed the joints etc and it is superb now. I love it.

 

Isn't the hicas parts known as the hicas rack or am I mistaken? If I'm right, we have to chose between the tight ass and the rack.

I myself was always a rack man :D

I never got on with hicas personally, the V8 has been locked out so should be a nice tight ass :D

I'd go with the tight ass, had hicas on the silver one in good working order. I always thought something weren't quite right. have an Na at the mo and it feels so much better, even though it needs renewing

My Hicas was always playing up, so got to say i would like a tight ass from now on
