Hi people,

OK.... My 300 is running good, but...I am a little concerned about my oil temperature.

What is the oil temperature at idle, while driving, and under load for a standard and modded 300ZX?

Also, does the grade of oil make any difference to the running temperature?

Cheers all,

Al.

What temp gauge are you using first? Stock one? If yes, then it's about as reliable as a politician's word. When cold, it should sit toward the 2/3rd...on JDM clocks, that's between 4 and 8. When fully warm, it should sit just below the first quarter mark, but some sit slightly lower (idle). Under load when warm, it should sit around the first quarter marker.

Sorry mate, was getting confused with the pressure gauge. Don't know then as I don't have external lube temp gauges.
