Very interesting thing happend earlier. Whilst on route over to Brighton in the zed, pick up girlfriend to take her to her mates. Get a nod and a thumbs ups from a bloke in a silver skyline, a bit later on after dropping girlfriend off, and heading home on my own, at a set of lights, another silver skyline this time a blue R34, pulls along side.

Two little blonde honey's in it, give me a beep and a rev.

So i cant be rude and give a smile and a rev back. Lights change, i let them get past me, only for them to slow down and let me overtake, this carries on for about for 4 miles, each time at lights we have a little go, and messing about.

Just outside Worthing on the A27 again at lights, the lady driver winds down the window and looks at me, and says "nice zed, always wanted one"

I reply "all three of you, are stunning", to which i get a wink of the driver and a nice smile from her and her passenger.

I will be looking out for these ladies. Nice to see some decent drivers in a very decent skyline

Yes. He's using the first 'that' as a clause (I think) and the second 'that' as a noun. It sounds funny, but if you read it like the following (as I'll write it), you'll probably recognise it as something that maybe used in conversation. "never realised thut that young fool"

You two go and learn some English! In the meantime, I'm off to bed!

Night night mate, sweet dreams.............

Good on you mate.

BTW, you can use 'had' twice too (a more common occurrence). IE, "They had had to go to the toilet for shit". Same methodology as above. :) I think the correct term for that use is a past participle. I stand to be corrected on that one though.

Anyway, night everyone. Sweet dreams

Edit: Bollocks: I think it's a past conditional. Kinda wished I'd studied English at A-level. My father's a linguist and I am just interested in language in general. Anyway, my brain just farted, so I will hit the sack.

Will you please fook off Si

I'm also heading off - and if you lot feel the need to say stuff behind my back, you wont be able to log in tomorrow
