hello mate nice to meet you your car looks the nuts .....unfortunatly i only have about £2000 to spend i was hoping to buy one for a bit cheap and do it up what do you think:dance:

You'll need a few more pennies than that. You can buy crappy ones for between £1500 and £2k. But you'll need lots of money to do work to it. Parts are expensive. £1500 will buy you an absolute trout of a TT and most likely an Auto. Depends on your skills. You could probably buy a decent condition one (body) with engine problems and do a rebuild yourself if you're competent enough.

I know the guys down at my local tunning place and they said for two grand i could find an ok one as long as the engine is good and the body work to. not to fussed about the interior as ill proberbly leather it up , do you think i should go for a manual then are the autos not as good i have seen some real nice ones on piston heads for £2500 i could proberbly stretch to that if i sell my left nut:nana2:

How much do your guys know about Zs though? A lot of people 'think' they do, but I've seen cheap Zs and boy are they tired looking boats. £2k will find you a tatty runner. Nothing special. You can strike it lucky and find reasonable ones for £2.5k.

sell your left nut bud  It is worth that little extra push.

Other wise it could cost you more with it being a money pit. The manual is the one to go for if you can find one. But i have been in znuts car and the auto box is very good to

Win win :)

wel............ the idea is that i already own a car for every day use so this 300 will be my weekend car ,something to polish at the weekends that sot of thing and also to do it up i want to keep it for years and do it up slowly as long as the basicas are there and also my best mate is a wicked mechanic and i know a bit also , what are parts like would i realy have to sell my left nut lol:hyper:

There is a bloke on here called jeff from zedworld and he has tons of 2nd hand parts.

Parts are more than your average car. i would say almost every part is double the price of a std car.

2 ball joints cost me £90 iirc track rod end £40 each etc

why not sell both your nuts and get a decent one...you'll have no money or time to use your nuts once you start spending on the zed:rofl::rofl::D

You can get a good one for around 3k, believe me i know. Jeff looked at mine and laughed when i told him the price i paid. The engine, interior and body are sweet on mine and has only done 50 odd thousand miles with full nissan history. May be i was lucky cos i looked at a lot and this one stood out and the guy needed the money but there out there so keep looking mate. Im pleased your looking at these cars as there a beautiful car, just dont fit lambo lights cos there a nissan, a bloody good nissan to.
