Hi all, please can i have some help i know it is cheeky to ask just after joining. My 300z subframe bushes have gone i have the energy suspension bushes to do it, but i just need to know is it easier to get a garage to do the work or do it yourself and if anyone has done it and has an easier way than the manual. . My 300z will not be making japfest this year am gutted however i am still going in my Sunny GTI which i am selling, glad i did not sell it sooner now though as the 300z is still in the body shop. how do you put pics on the fourm please. Many thanks again Andy.

If you can get the subframe locking collars you could have them fitted in about 30 minutes.

yer only had the car for 3 months was taken it to japfest but taking to long to do body work and am getting a clifford alarm fitted so i can get the door handles taken of and smoothed in need to find door popers tho

I dont think locking collars will fix knackered subframe bushes .I thought they just stiffened up aready good subframe bushes .Ive done a few sets of subframe bushes they can be a pig to get out , hole cutter /blow torch /big hammer .Youl need to remove rear subframe as well.:)

Locking collars are called so as thats what they do.They lock the subframe directly to the body making the bushes redundant.Collars are far easier to fit and dont make the rear of the car crashy over bumps which surprised me.
