You should remove the Veilside front bumper. ;)

You can do the det sensor bypass with the engine still in situ. TBH, if the engine is out, renew the det sensor loom and clean up the terminals. The bypass is done when the engine is in situ. It's a mod to bypass it when you don't want to take the engine out to replace it.

If it's out, get it working.

so i cant just take it out then?

Course you can. But if you have the engine out, it's better to get it working. That's my opinion anyway. When my engine came out, I replaced the loom. Would rather have it working than bypassed. The Det sensor is something of a safety feature.

Thread cleaned.... Thanks

oooohhhhh

when you know the threads been cleaned dont you think this is a little childish mate..is there a mission to try and destroy all spin doctors threads??..ok we've all had a laugh recently now can we grow up and move on;)

Back on topic... The dett sensor is there to protect the engine as i understand it mate. As si says replace the whole loom if you have the engine out as it could save you the cost of a rebuild...
