When I do a balance test in Conzult its showing a drop of only 50 - 60 on cylinder 6.

 

Any idea what might be wrong?

no idea on your problem mate but my cylinder 6 is only 90psi i was told that its the weakest cylinder coz of summit todo with water carnt remimber what tho lol

i wouldnt think so mate tbh im not sure so i am rebuilding my engine do you get any smoke out the exhaust ?

No smoke rebuild about 3k ago runs just fine sounds just fine. Ill check the connectors and plug might just be a loose connection

The balance test on Conzult is just for a general idea of how the engine is running between cylinders, a bigger drop on one just shows a problem, not the cause which could be anything from mechanical to wiring.

what were the other cylinder drop mate? you need to compare them all .

the consult test shows power ballance .

If one cylinder shows a larger drop than any other its actually working the hardest!

so what you dont want is a cylinder that has very little drop mate.

They were all in the region of 200 except no.6 which gets a regular 50 -60

I'd suggest you do a compression test, just in case

Have swapped the coil and plug between 6 and 2 and no change. Have also disconnected the no.6 injector and ther was a definate drop in performance so they all seem to be working ok. No.6 is making a difference but just not as much as all the others. I think I'll get Jeff to have a search around next time its up at Zedworld. Thanks for all your help.

Nope... I've got his car and It's still the same... I just tacked to the end of your dual fuel pump thread aswell... I have a thread in Help and advice re. this aswell but no replies as yet mate!

Get a compression check done!!!

Has been done mate... that cylinder is fine, reults are between 168 and 175.
