and get a fresh 12 month mot and out it needs for it !

Anyway , im gonna have some funds in reserve by the time that's done and want to start thinking more seriously about alloys !!

i did fully intend to get the cruize 135's from (dp motor sport) along with an apexi from dta , but after just phoning up dp , been told there no longer avail in the colour below only now in black and very limited on those 2

GUTTED !!!!

Ive stared at and saved for these for months now !!. Just wondering if anyone knew another supplier or outlet that may carry them ??????????

think he means dannyzx, a member on here... not sure dan@dta sells wheels?

That's what i thought ! i must of missed dannyzx's sale thread

Funnily enough, I have a set of 19" Jade R's (8.5" front and 10" rear ;)) in virtually new condition currently sat in my garage (fitted with brand new tyres...and not the el cheapo's you get if you buy off Fleabay ;)) that I was originally fitting to the V8 Z but would consider selling for the right price...

well i'm a short while of the cheepie price as gotta give the box a recon aswell:rant: , any idea on price roughly??

have you heard of racing hart cx alloys?

or the veilside andrews? or even workmeister equip

i've heard of veilside, and the latter:)

  • Author

just fitted them after work.. here's how they look to give you further food for thought!

8.5x18 et30 fronts and 9.5x18 et 30 rears.

They look spot on m8 :rofl:

Buddy, i seen the Jade R's at wheelmania. It was a choice between them or the set i got. I was looking at 19's. They look massive bud because of the illusion effect they give. There lovely!!

That's what led me to the Jade R's , think i'm gonna settle for 18's now the Cruize 135's are fading away ,just gotta narrow the choice down a bit

well i've been ringing round most of the day , cant seem to get hold of Projex through phone , ill try there e-mail

i did speak to Premier Wheels though (selling the same wheels Isaac has)

But in silver , im really leaning towards these and would certainly only mean one more pay cheque and could get the wheels and the box recon'ed and be back on the rd in the Z:dance:

after asking him a few questions though

he did assure me these will bolt straight on to mine with no issues

(fitting kit supplied)

just wanted to confirm this ????

details are -8.5x18" ET32 Front / 9.5x18" ET35 Rear. PCD 5x114

Thanks Chris:D

yeah, they should be fine mate, my old wheels were 8.5x17 et35 front and 9.5x17 et35 rear. My new ones are 8.5x18 et30 front and 9.5x18 et30 rear. your slap bang in between my old set and new set at the front so no worries there mate. Can you get them with an et25 offset for the front as they would sit perfectly inline with your front arch. My et35 used to sit inside the arch and my new et30's, although they sit a lot closer to the arch, i would of probably gone for an et25 offset if it was available for the front just to be spot on. think et25 is what funkysi is running at the front on his.

Thanks for the detailed post mate, i'm sorting insurance out on the Z today , i''ll also do some more enquries on the offset with the company in question

but looks i'll go for that set:dance:

Just flicking through e-bay, and the very wheels i originally wanted when i started this thread (but was told only now avail in black) have been relisted, only if i had the money to spare now , i was half way there on the first page:cry: but spent it on other things now

and looks like limited stock again

one of my favourite wheel designs for the z32:bow::bow:

They're bloody lovely mate - but thats alot of wonga to find at the last minute! :(

yep could only spare around half that at the min and that's biting in to next pay cheque :(

i REALLY like these wheels though i think it's gotta be these or the jade R's but I’m a fair amount away from either at the min , and not long put new tyres on mine !

so think i'm gonna get some other work done soon , and start again with the alloy fund a little further down the line

at least i know what figure to aim for :)

After months of searching i finally think i've found a pair of 5 spokes i like. They're the Enkei RP03's. These have been recommended on a few z sites as a good value lightweight alloy and i've found a set of 17x8.5 + 17x 9.5 for £1150. Found this picture of them on a z.

Cruize 135's NO QUESTION!

Agreed , they are very nice wheels and i would have been very close to the price if i'd kept adding to what i had set aside ! :(

but i'd also made my mind up that i wouldn’t go above 18's after reading a few threads, but i'd make the exception for these if there avail when i've got the cash again

Agreed there aren't many five spoke designs on the Z that i like either , the one's you posted are nice , but i don’t know what it is with the 135's just feel DRAWN to them lol
