Ok just fitted my new bov's (turbo xs replicas) and they dont sound any louder than the old filthy xs power ones i had? although the car does feel more responsive? They are fitted behind the bumper in front of the rad, will they be louder and more clear if fitted in the engine bay?

Maybe you need to cut the springs a little due to them being really hard/strong which is not allowing the boost to push whatever is inside the dump valves far enough to make a good/loud sound...But thats just a suggestion...
